Spiritual Direction

I accompany spiritual seekers in revitalizing and renewing their connections to the Earth, the sacred, and life-affirming, resilient, social ecosystems. I companion people of all spiritual traditions as well as people who do not identify as spiritual.

My life experiences, skills, and personal spiritual practices make me an especially good fit for educators; creators; activists; religious professionals; farmers and gardeners; travelers; people who are retired or transitioning between fields, relationships, or life stages; veterinarians, shelter workers, animal care volunteers, and animal lovers in general; and those grieving climate change or exploring a post-doom spirituality.

I offer individual and group spiritual direction in person, or online (via Zoom, Skype, or Jitsi).

My Philosophy on Payment for Spiritual Direction

I hold the value of spiritual direction so highly that I aspire to make it accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. At the same time, offering spiritual direction without compensation would not honor my spiritual direction community's standards or my own investment in providing this vital service.

For this reason, I charge a fee based on my costs, which include annual membership in spiritual direction and ministerial professional organizations, my own spiritual direction, spiritual direction supervision, website maintenance, liability insurance, continuing education, and online conferencing costs.

Based on these factors, my "baseline" fee is $75 for one hour of spiritual direction. I also offer a sliding scale and would be happy to discuss a rate that reflects your particular circumstances. I offer a one-hour "get acquainted" session free of charge.
